Cane Webbing Cabinet Refresh

Instructions

1. Remove the existing cabinet door by unscrewing the hinges with a screwdriver.

2. Measure the dimensions of the cabinet door panel (e.g., 24 in x 30 in) and cut a piece of 1/4 in plywood to match these dimensions.

3. Cut a piece of woven cane webbing to 2 inches larger than the plywood panel on all sides (e.g., 28 in x 34 in).

4. Apply wood glue evenly around the edges of the plywood panel.

5. Center the woven cane webbing over the plywood panel and press it down onto the glue, ensuring it is taut.

6. Fold the excess cane webbing over the edges of the plywood and secure it with a staple gun, placing staples every 2 inches along the edges.

7. Trim any excess cane webbing with scissors, leaving about 1/4 inch around the edges.

8. Reattach the cabinet door to the cabinet frame using the original hinges. Ensure it opens and closes smoothly.
