Concrete Planter Set

Instructions

1. Cut three pieces of 1/2 in plywood into squares: one 12x12 in, one 10x10 in, and one 8x8 in for the outer molds.

2. Cut three pieces of 1/4 in plywood into squares: one 10x10 in, one 8x8 in, and one 6x6 in for the inner molds.

3. Assemble the outer molds using wood screws and a drill with a 1/8 in bit, ensuring they are square and secure.

4. Apply a release agent (such as cooking spray) to the inner surfaces of the outer molds and the outer surfaces of the inner molds.

5. Mix concrete using 4 parts concrete mix to 1 part water in a bucket, stirring until it reaches a thick, pourable consistency.

6. Pour the mixed concrete into the largest outer mold until it is about 1 in from the top.

7. Insert the largest inner mold into the concrete, ensuring it is centered, and weigh it down with a few small stones to create a drainage hole.

8. Repeat the pouring and inserting process for the medium and small planters, using the corresponding molds and adjusting the weight as necessary.

9. Allow the concrete to cure for 24-48 hours before removing the molds, then sand any rough edges with sandpaper.
