Hand-Poured Soy Candles
Pour four scented soy candles in reusable vessels. Everything you need to melt, scent, wick, and cure a batch that actually throws scent.
Instructions
1. Measure 16 oz of soy wax flakes using a kitchen scale.
2. Melt the soy wax in a double boiler over medium heat until it reaches 180°F, using a candy thermometer to check the temperature.
3. Add 1 oz of fragrance oil to the melted wax and stir for 2 minutes to ensure even distribution.
4. Prepare four 8 oz glass jars by securing a cotton wick to the bottom with a glue dot.
5. Pour the scented wax into each jar, filling them to the top, and ensure the wick remains centered.
6. Allow the candles to cool and cure for at least 24 hours before trimming the wick to 1/4 inch.
