Linen Pillowcase Set
Sew two envelope-back pillowcases from washed linen. Straight seams only — no zippers, no buttons, no pattern.
Instructions
1. Cut two pieces of washed linen, each measuring 20 in x 30 in.
2. Hem one long edge of each linen piece by folding over 1/4 in and then 1/4 in again; press with an iron.
3. Sew the hem in place using a sewing machine with a straight stitch, 1/8 in from the folded edge.
4. Place the two linen pieces right sides together, aligning the hemmed edges.
5. Sew along the two short sides and the unhemmed long side with a straight stitch, 1/4 in from the edge.
6. Turn the pillowcase right side out and press the seams flat with an iron.
