Instructions

1. Cut four lengths of cotton cord, each 10 feet long.

2. Fold each cord in half to create a loop at the top.

3. Tie a lark's head knot with each cord onto a wooden ring, securing all four cords together.

4. Measure 12 inches down from the ring and tie a square knot with the outer two cords.

5. Take the two inner cords and tie a square knot 6 inches below the first square knot.

6. Repeat the previous step, creating a total of three square knots, spaced 6 inches apart.

7. Gather all four cords at the bottom and tie a final knot to secure them together, leaving a 4-inch tail for the pot holder.

8. Trim any excess cord to your desired length, ensuring the ends are even.
