Reupholster a Dining Chair Seat

Instructions

1. Remove the existing fabric from the seat pads using a staple remover.

2. Cut four pieces of 1-inch thick foam to 18x18 inches using a utility knife.

3. Cut four pieces of batting to 20x20 inches to wrap around the foam.

4. Lay the foam on a flat surface and place the batting on top of each foam piece.

5. Place the seat pad on top of the batting and foam, centering it.

6. Pull the batting over the edges of the seat pad and staple it in place using a staple gun with 1/4 inch staples.

7. Cut your chosen fabric into four pieces, each measuring 22x22 inches.

8. Lay the fabric over the padded seat, ensuring it is centered, and pull the edges over the batting and staple it down, making clean corner folds.

9. Trim any excess fabric and batting from the edges if necessary.
