Rice Heating Pad

Instructions

1. Cut one piece of cotton fabric to 24 in x 12 in for the pad.

2. Cut one piece of cotton fabric to 24 in x 12 in for the cover.

3. Sew the two pieces of fabric together along the long sides and one short side, using a 1/4 in seam allowance, leaving one short side open.

4. Turn the sewn fabric right side out.

5. Fill the pad with 2 lb of uncooked rice, distributing it evenly.

6. Sew the open end of the pad closed with a straight stitch.

7. Cut two pieces of cotton fabric to 24 in x 12 in for the cover, and sew them together along the long sides and one short side, leaving one short side open.

8. Turn the cover right side out and insert the rice pad into the cover, then sew the open end closed.
