Instructions

1. Cut one 1x6 board to 24 in for the back panel.

2. Cut two 1x6 boards to 6 in for the side panels.

3. Cut one 1x6 board to 6 in for the top panel.

4. Cut one 1x6 board to 6 in for the bottom panel.

5. Drill 5/16 in holes into the back panel, spaced 2 in apart, to a depth of 4 in for the nesting tubes.

6. Cut bamboo or paper straws to 4 in lengths, ensuring a variety of diameters (1/4 in to 1/2 in).

7. Attach the side panels to the back panel using wood screws (1 1/4 in) and a drill with a 1/8 in bit.

8. Attach the top panel to the structure using wood screws (1 1/4 in) and a drill with a 1/8 in bit.

9. Attach the bottom panel to the structure using wood screws (1 1/4 in) and a drill with a 1/8 in bit.

10. Sand all edges to remove splinters and rough spots.

11. Paint or seal the exterior with non-toxic wood finish if desired, allowing to dry completely before use.
