Instructions

1. Measure and cut the 1x6 inch wood into four pieces: two pieces at 3 feet long for the long sides and two pieces at 2 feet long for the short sides of the planter box.

2. Use wood glue to attach the corners of the box, then secure with wood screws (1.5 inches) for added strength.

3. Cut the bottom of the planter box from the remaining 1x6 inch wood to fit inside the frame, then attach it using wood screws.

4. Sand all edges and surfaces of the planter box using medium grit sandpaper, followed by fine grit sandpaper for a smooth finish.

5. If desired, apply wood stain or paint to the planter box using a paintbrush, and allow it to dry completely.

6. Cut the four 2x2 inch wood pieces to 3 feet long for the legs.

7. Attach each leg to the corners of the planter box using wood screws, ensuring they are flush with the bottom of the box.

8. Use a square to check that the legs are perpendicular to the box, making adjustments as necessary.

9. Sand the legs with medium and fine grit sandpaper to smooth any rough edges.

10. Optionally, apply wood stain or paint to the legs, and allow to dry completely.

11. Position the planter box in your desired location and fill it with soil and plants.
